Paso Robles wedding; Brooklynn & Richard

Posted in Weddings in San Luis Obispo

Ahhh, Brooklynn & Richard…I absolutely love this couple! As cheesy as it sounds, their love is seriously so refreshing. I would be talking to Brooklynn about wedding details and Richard would casually lean over and kiss her for head. It was so freakin cute! Their palette was set with red, tangerine orange and grey. The design was modern but was Asian inspired. The girls carried rice paper umbrellas with cherry blossoms flowing down. Brooklynn’s bouquet was so fabulous and simple, white orchids wrapped with a champagne silk fabric. The ceremony was held at Meridian Winery in Paso Robles on a hot summer day. The vines were full as ever and there was not a cloud in the sky. After enjoying appetizers and drinks on the terrace, the guests were invited into the barrel room to enjoy a live band and great food. The decor and the lighting really set the ambiance of the night. We had candles inside of the barrels that lined around the whole room. The walls were up-lit in a vibrant red. Orange dupioni silk was strung across the room and grape vine wrapped down the fabric with splashes of red orchids.

The flowers were designed by Panacea; thank you Corinne for your amazing designs and passion! Check out her fabulous designs; www.panaceaweddingflowers.com. Photography was done by Rachel at Mike Larson Photography; www.mikelarson.com.  Thank you Gary for the great BBQ dinner! Check him out, he does a really yummy barbecue;www.philscatering.com. And last but not least, thanks to DJ Bob of Phase 1 Mobile DJ for the fab music and entertainment! www.p1dj.com.

At the end of the night, I had all of the guests line up the pathway outside that leads to the limo. As Richard and Brooklynn walked out, the guests lite up the sparklers. It was so awesome! The pics explain it all. Congratulations Brooklynn and Richard! I wish you the most amazing and happy live together. I will miss you guys!

A touch of Australia in Paso Robles

Posted in Weddings in San Luis Obispo

This is one of the most memorable weddings for me!  My really good friend Mindi, got married this past summer at Peachy Canyon Winery in Paso Robles, California.  Mindi and her husband, Aaron live in Sydney, Australia full time.  When they first got engaged they debated on having their wedding in Australia or California.  Aaron is originally from Australia, so of course all of his family and friends are there.  But for Mindi, she was born and raised in California.  So of course the debate was heated on the decision.  What better place to get married then the place where they met and worked together.  The decision was made; Peachy Canyon Winery in Paso Robles.   Her design was so classy and modern, with a splash of Australian style.  The pallet began with green and was accented by grey and white.  The flowers were designed by TOS Events with the help of our good friends, Joy Honey and Jen Pickens.  We had a blast working on the flowers together.  They turned out amazing and exactly what I pictured!  The food was fabulous, thank you so much Trumpet Vine catering for great service and a fabulous display of art. www.trumpetvinecatering.com You can not have a party without a great DJ, thanks DJ Bob….you rocked it!  After the sun went down a whole new ambiance set in.  The lighting filled the oak trees around us in a shade of purple and lights were strung across the bar.  It was seriously fabulous, thank you Kramer Entertainment  www.kramerdjs.com Last but not least……my absolute favorite photographers…Mike Larson Photography.  Always a pleasure working with the amazing crew.  A special thanks to Rachel Larson and Jake for helping bring the pictures to life.   www.mikelarson.com

Congratulations Mindi & Aaron!  I love you guys and thank you for giving me the opportunity to plan your wedding.  I totally get it if you want to name your first born child after me….I mean come on.  Who wouldn’t want to!  haha  J/K  Hope to see you both very soon…xoxo

Such a naturally beautiful bride

The photo booth was a big hit

Purple up-lighting of the trees created such an inviting ambiance

Aaron gave a toasts at the end of the night, and it was seriously a tear jerker. He went through a list of thank you

We strung small vases from every tree surrounding the dance floor and filled them with a floating candle. When the sun went down, it looked beautiful!

Submerged with Love! We filled the centerpiece vases with flowers and then submerged them under water.

Spheres covered in moss added an extra touch of green color and looked great paired with the centerpieces.

We had so much fun putting together the flowers

What an honor to coordinate a dear friends wedding

My two favorite girls. Congratulations Mindi you found your prince charming!
