Jennifer & Scott

Posted in Engagements

I absolutely am in love with this couple!  Jennifer & Scott live in San Diego, California.  They will be saying their vows this September in Paso Robles, California.  While looking over the beautiful rolling hills, filled with lushes grape vines waiting to be picked.

Jennifer & Scott are just one of those couples that you admire their love and affection for each other.  Every time I talk to Jennifer she gets more excited about marrying the love of her life.  I love that….. when you can completely tell how much they love each other just by the way they look at one another!  Mike Larson Photography captured the love and excitement through all of these photos.  On the day of the shoot, rain was in the for cast.  And of course it did, even though you never know with the way the weather man predicts these things.  But anyways, Rachel & Mike where able to get them out there in between the showers. But the rain did not stop how much fun they had on this shoot!  Jennifer & Scott are very excited to have Mike Larson photography a part of their wedding.  Jennifer is one of those brides that I will totally miss after the wedding has past.  We email about something almost every day.  I love drinking my coffee in the morning and writing back and fourth to Jenn.  She is such a fun bride!  We just bounce off fun design ideas, colors, flowers, linens, food & of course how are day is going so far.  Stay tuned for their fabulous wedding this fall!  The wedding design is going to be speechless….

Organic wood? The making of the boxes…

YEAH!!!  I am so excited about the finishing product!  Thanks to my friends; Aaron Gomez and Jory Brigham.   Check out their site; www.jorybrigham.com They are amazing designers!  Just to hear them explain the different types of wood and the feel that each one gives off, blew my mind.  Aaron explains; “We are two designers/builders who like to focus on the aesthetics of our pieces. Creating unique furniture that is a functioning piece of art, not just something for storage. Our natural resources are precious. Thus I strongly believe in using it all to its fullest potential. All wood has very interesting qualities. It is our job as designers and builders to showcase that beauty in the best way possible.”

I believe these boxes can be used in many different ways at a wedding.  Mainly to display; place cards, menu’s, favors, etc.  Each box will be filled with a different design depending on the style/color of the wedding.  Stay tuned for pictures from a wedding in March!  Thanks Aaron & Jory!!

Don’t forget to check out their site!
